Douglas an eleven year old moves to Orkney with his parents and he forms a firm friendship with another boy on the ferry out. They soon find themselves involved in a mystery with some skulduggery afoot. The team up with a remarkably capable girl and her dog, an exciting adventure develops.
The action revolves around Orkney landmarks so interesting facts about the island are related.
The story is set in the ‘70s and illustrated by the author.
