Isaiah has spent most of his adult life serving his country. Now that he’s toward the end of his middle years his country has fallen into collapse. He has spent years preparing for this collapse. He, his family and his friends have to build a village of survivors in the post collapse world. They establish their home near the Natchez Trace southwest of Nashville. But it hasn’t been an easy task. They have had to content with a fuel shortage, food shortages, terrorists, no electricity, thugs, CMEs and a government out of control. Now they are working to build a future for their families and other good people they encounter along the way. They lose friends and family but they fight on. Survival is what they must do and survive they will. They will fight to accomplish what must be done. Besides their combat and survival skills, they have their Christian faith and strong conservative values as a foundation to support them.

They don’t seem to run out of problems that they must deal with in order to survive. Some of the problems are just finding ways to make life livable and some are things they’ve had to deal with before that just don’t seem to want to go away.

This book is a re-edited compilation of the series of novellas, PLUS it has three additional stories added to it. At the end is a preview of the next book in the series, ‘Trace of Hope’.
