SYNOPSIS


Commander David (Charlie) Charlesworth, is a young, retired, Naval Officer and is the owner of a 42 foot racing yacht, 'Mashona'. When he is asked by the Director of Naval Intelligence to infiltrate and disrupt a gun running operation in the Caribbean he suspects that there is something more sinister afoot. Together with his specialist crew, Jack Baker and Samantha Rawlinson he sails for the West Indies. While under the guise of performing charter work in the Grenadines he is approached by an organisation who negotiate with him to run guns to Cuba. When the C.I.A. become involved his suspicions are confirmed that things are not quite what they seem.
On his return to the U.K. Charlesworth has a new 52 foot 'Mashona' built. After a seasons racing he is again approached by D.N.I. this time to investigate and prevent a communist plot to overthrow the French and Italian governments. With a new crew he sails for the Med under the cover of racing in Sardinia and later the Middle Sea race in Malta. He gets heavily involved with the right wing parties in both Italy and France
With plots which involve adventure on the high seas together with romance, intrigue and exotic locations in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, the reader is compelled to find out what happens next.
